This sweater comes from Devold "Originals" collection. We have carefully selected this type of sweater not only because it is a warm, traditional sweater made from 100 % pure new wool from Norwegian sheep. But because what the name "Amundsen" stands for.
Roald Amundsen (1872-1928) was a Norwegian explorer first to reach the South Pole in 1911.
Originally these sweaters were made for fishermen and other workers in the harsh climate along the Norwegian coast. Today these garments have become popular mid-layers or outerwear, perfect for cold weather. In order to achieve soft and well fitted garments, the sweaters are pre-washed.
The sweaters are unisex sizes which means they are a little bigger than ordinary women sizes and a little smaller than ordinary men sizes.
