Original Vintage F. Ralling Climbing Crampons

This is an original pair of vintage  wrought iron climbing crampons made by the Felix Ralling Hammerwerk company in the village of Fulpmes in the Subai valley in south Tyrol, Austria. They have 10 points and are marked size 44. The leather straps are in excelent shape and the metal is clean.

The village of Fulpmes is considered to be the centre for iron industry in the Stubai Valley and therefore also referred to as the "Village of Smithy" which is also shown by the anvil on the emblem of the village.
